Listvyanka settlement may become the starting and finishing point of many routes and trips on Baikal. It is a center of infrastructure with the best hotels and almost all boats stationed at this place. Moreover, this is a perfect place for 2—3 days trips and for organizing corporate activities.

Olkhon is a home of many tribes and nationalities of Central Asia: martial Gunnes, Turkes, Kurikans and others. Many legends are associated with this Island. One of them even say that Olkhon is a place where «Conqueror of the World» — Genghis Khan is buried.

«Zama» is a picturesque and vast meadow valley, flowering at summer time with red lilies and yellow poppies. There is also a small Laguna lake rich in fish not far from it. There is also a healing mineral spring, drinking water of which helps for gastric.

There are places on Baikal with a special protection regime. One of such places is Chivirkuiskiy Bay which is located on the territory of Barguzin Nature Reserve where Baikal waters are warm and shallow. No constructions can be found there except one small cozy floating hotel «Ecotour» which will hospitably welcome you abroad. This is the warmest Bay on Baikal and you will find no better place for fishing!

Small Sea is presented by cozy bays with sand and shingle beaches stretched for 76 kilometers along the shore, together with Laguna lakes with warm clear waters. Small Sea is separated from «Big Baikal» by the biggest Island of the Lake — Olkhon. Best features of unique Siberian nature are gathered at this place. Warm water of the bays, picturesque fragrant steppes lay at the very bottom of Mighty Mountains of Primorskiy Mountain Range.

While being on a cruise trip on Baikal Lake, it is impossible not to visit Ushkanyi Islands Archipelago. These separated from the land Islands have always been a tourist and travelers attraction. Virgin untouched nature, excellent beaches, fishing, fantastic memorable pictures and picturesque views of the Lake that take your breath away — all these and more are waiting for you at unique place.

Circum-Baikal Railway is the biggest architectural monument of our country and the most expensive railroad built in royal Russia! This place is considered one of the most attractive places on Baikal! Tunnels and arches on the shore of Baikal are built in delicate style of Italian architectures. This place reminds a small piece of old Europe in far-away Siberia. All this is Circum-Baikal Railway.

Yenhokh is unique by numerous ant-hills located here as well as on Ushkaniy Islands. These small creatures protect you from ticks and snakes. Vast meadows change their colors here depending on the season. In spring and beginning of summer the coast seems violet-purple because of Rhododendron blossoming which fills the air with wonderful smell of that bush. In summer time that plant changes to bright yellow colors of ounces and purple-pink lilies.

Peschanaya Bay is one of the most fascinating places on Baikal. Gold sand beaches, centuries-old cedar trees that rise in dense taiga forest, vitamin cocktails made from forest berries and unbelievably crystal—clear water of the Lake — these things are associated with Peschanaya Bay.

One cannot describe the enchantment of this Lake, you have to visit the place yourself. The magic of northern Baikal, gorgeous and gentle landscapes, fresh water and air, untouched dense taiga forest and bear’s footprints on the ground, thaw less snow of the summits high in the mountains, thick morning fog and terrific sunsets covering half of the evening sky, boisterous rivers and icy springs, non man-frightened fish stocks — these all are Frolykha Lake.

Far away at the north of Baikal, where the shore is overgrown with cedar trees, pine trees and Siberian larch trees, and sand beach stretches 4 km long along the shoreline, there are the strongest mineral hot springs — Khakusy. This place is fabulous with unique energy. The combination of Siberian taiga forest together with white sand and hot mineral waters provides special power to this place.

If you come to Baikal for excellent swimming in crystal—clear waters, sand beaches and Siberian sun-tan — go to Yarki Island! This is the long sand spit at the very north of Baikal Lake. This place is shallow which let the waters warm up here till +24...+25 ºC. There you will find terrific landscapes of Baikal mountains being very close to you, as well as amazing views to sacred Lake itself. There is also an excellent place for fishing.

Don’t miss a chance to take a walk upwards along the river, where you will see number of waterfalls falling down into the canyon. Take your time and enjoy finding yourself alone in some places, feel yourself united with the nature around in Eastern Sayan Mountains.
